Earn your Young Achievers Create Badge in a day! Join VICTA in Portsmouth for a day of art activities.

VICTA is travelling to Portsmouth for a day of art activities with blind Braille artist and VICTA Patron Clarke Reynolds and the Aspex Portsmouth.

The day will begin with a tour of the famous Spinnaker Tower, exploring the ‘Braille Rails’ with Clarke and enjoying the spectacular views (audio guides will be available). We will then take a short walk over to the Aspex Portsmouth for a touch tour of their latest exhibition. After a lunch break, we will get creative with Clarke and Aspex staff, making clay models and other art pieces to take home.

As part of the day, children with a vision impairment aged 10 and under will also earn their VICTA Young Achievers Create badge in a day and be well on their way to completing their medal. (Siblings will earn a Super Siblings certificate and pin-badge for being, well… super!) If you completed your Young Achievers Award last year, there’s still more to do as you can now work towards your gold badge.
