Navigating the Early Years for Families with a Blind or Partially Sighted Child
Join VICTA and the Royal Society for Blind Children for a day filled with chat, information and activities for families with an early years child (0-5) who is blind or partially sighted.
The RSBC and VICTA’s friendly and welcoming teams will be there to welcome you for the day, with a range of experts on hand to answer questions and share their knowledge with you on all things early years. From advice on early years play to demonstrations of the latest technology and much more, we have a full day planned for you and your family, and of course its a great chance to meet other children and families too!
The amazing Tinies Creche will be there to entertain and care for your child and siblings (up to age 11), and with lunch and refreshments provided there will be time to relax and enjoy the day.
Sense TouchBase Pears is a fantastic inclusive and accessible venue in Birmingham with free onsite parking and nearby train and bus connections.
If travel costs create any challenges for you please do contact connections@rsbc.org.uk quoting this event and they will reach out to offer some support for your family to be able to attend. Please also contact the email address with any questions about the creche.
