VICTA is offering to support your ticketed entry to a natural space near you!

Celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week over the May half term with VICTA and immerse yourself in a green space that is local to you. Getting outside and exploring your wild spaces can have a number of positive impacts from increased awareness for our natural environment and improved physical fitness to supporting sound mental health and wellbeing.

About the VICTA offer:

We are offering to cover or contribute towards the cost of your VI child’s ticket (up to the value of £20).

This offer only applies to garden visits during National Children’s Gardening Week which runs from Saturday 25 May – Sunday 2 June 2024.

Please note that this is a limited offer and VICTA reserves the right to close it at any time.

To be eligible for this offer, you must be registered or registerable as blind or partially sighted. VICTA may ask for documentation to evidence your child’s vision impairment; acceptable documentation can include:

  • A Certificate of Vision Impairment (all parts)
  • A Blind registration card (both sides)
  • A letter from your local council outlining the individual to be registered
  • A letter from your Ophthalmologist outlining visual acuity

Steps to claim the offer:

  1. Fill in the form below to express interest in this offer.
  2. Once you have received a confirmation message from one of the VICTA team, book and pay for your garden visit. You will receive an automated message for completing this form, please note that this is not confirmation you have been successful, please wait for a message from one of the VICTA team.
  3. Send VICTA a picture or screenshot of your payment receipt to activities@victa.org.uk, ensuring that the cost of the VI child’s ticket is clearly shown along with the date of your booking.
  4. Once National Children’s Gardening Week is over, VICTA will be in touch with the process to claim reimbursement.
