Paralympics GB are delivering their latest series of ‘Discover Your Paralympic Potential’ events starting on Saturday 19 October in Crawley. There are two further days in Sheffield and Liverpool.
Experience different Paralympic sports, meet Paralympic medallists and find out all about classification. You will also have the opportunity to take part in basic performance profiling and speak to experience coaches.
VICTA can support with your travel costs attending these events. Please see below for further details.

VICTA Travel Offer
- VICTA will cover travel expenses up to £50 for those taking part in the ‘Discover Paralympic Potential’ events
- This offer only applies to the cost of the travel for a young person with a vision impairment aged 10 of 29
- Please also note that this is a limited offer and VICTA reserve the right to close it once we reach capacity
To benefit from this offer, you must:
- Be 10-29 years old
- Be registered or registerable blind or partially sighted (VICTA may ask for a copy of you/your child’s registration documents or a letter from an ophthalmologist as confirmation).
Payment of travel expenses is subject to proof of attendance at the relevant event (a simple photo of you enjoying the event) and travel receipts/mileage claim. Funds are limited so please get your applications in early. Reimbursement will be processed after the event.
