Get festive in your local area with the support of VICTA!

VICTA is offering to reimburse the cost of your VI child’s ticket (up to 17 years) when you visit a Christmas Experience near to you as a family. This can include a Christmas light show or Christmas experience; the visit must take place on or before Thursday 2 January. VICTA will reimburse up to a maximum of £20 per VI child.

How to register for reimbursement

  1. Once you have booked your Christmas experience, please fill in the form below and attach a copy of your booking confirmation. Your booking confirmation must clearly show the cost of your child’s ticket, the venue/name of experience and the date and time you have booked.
  2. You will then receive email confirmation that your reimbursement claim has been successful.
  3. In the new year, you will receive an email with a form to complete in order to process your reimbursement.

This offer is for a limited time only and can be withdrawn at any time.

When booking, your child may be entitled to a free carer ticket (depending on the venue). Any additional family members will be at your own cost. If your child’s ticket costs more than £20, VICTA will reimburse you for the £20 only and you will make up the difference yourself. Please note, to be eligible for this offer your child must be registered or registerable as blind or partially sighted, VICTA may ask for a copy of your child’s registration documents or a letter from an Ophthalmologist as confirmation.

If the applicant is registered, please include a copy of one of the following registration documents: - Certificate of Vision Impairment (CVI) - Blind Registration Card issued by local authority If the applicant is not registered, please provide: - a letter from an ophthalmologist confirming visual acuity. Please note, applications cannot be processed without these documents.
