Join VICTA and Canoe Trail on expedition as we paddle the River Great Ouse!
Whether you are a first timer or an experienced paddler, this exclusive expedition with Canoe Trail based at their campsite in Bedfordshire offers a safe and supportive environment to unleash your inner Bear Grylls and go off grid.
Starting in Cardington, we will begin our expedition learning some basic skills before heading onto the water. You will then be guided by Canoe Trail instructors along the River Great Ouse by canoe to their exclusive woodland campsite in Willington. As well as setting camp and preparing the campfire, you’ll have the chance to go wild swimming and play some team games. After spending a night under canvas, we’ll break camp and canoe to the finishing point in Great Barford.
The expedition has been designed by Canoe Trail to enjoy the beauty of journeying down the river, reaching camp at your own pace to create a sense of achievement and a proper adventure.
This activity does require an adequate level of physical ability due to the nature of the activities involved. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the Activities team on activities@victa.org.uk
