You can make a difference
We do not receive any statutory funding and rely entirely on the incredible efforts of our fundraisers and the generosity of individuals and other organisations for our funding. We are a small charity with big ideas.
Visual impairment in children and young adults is low incidence meaning it can be harder to find the support needed. As a result families of blind or partially sighted children are disconnected from each other, often leaving those effected frustrated, excluded, isolated and anxious. At VICTA, we believe social connectedness, confidence and self esteem help counter the physical, metal and emotional problems faced within the VI community.
Our activities and programmes have a real impact on the young people we support and we are aware that instilling confidence in children from a young age can give them the tools they need to succeed in their futures. With access to the right equipment, support and with positive emotional well-being, sight loss doesn’t need to be a barrier.
Our team will work hard to make sure your money goes where we know it will help, creating opportunities and bringing people together to build these vital support networks.
