In rainbow colours this decoration’s number one
With it top of our tree, VICTA’s Christmas has begun!

First place winner!

Mera Bedran, age 9

Congratulations to Mera who is the winner of the 2020 VICTA Tree for Treats Christmas decoration competition! Mera made a very unique decoration which incorporates the rainbow colours that mean so much to us at VICTA! Mera’s decoration also includes tactile and sensory elements which we loved. Well done Mera and a huge thank you to everyone who entered the competition and brightened up our Christmas!

What Mera told us about her decoration: “It’s a 3D rainbow Christmas flower with jingle bells which you can feel and touch. The flower leaves are made of round multi colour foil tinsels (blue, red, silver, green) with shiny glitter and stars in the middle.”

Image description: The centre of Mera’s decoration is a red circle made from clay which is covered in glitter and stars. Mera has then stuck cotton buds coming out from the centre which are decorated with different coloured glitter and stars. Red, blue, green and silver tinsel has been wound like a corkscrew and attached around the centre to form the petals. Four silver bells have been added for an extra sensory element.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
