Earn your Young Achievers Nature Badge in a day at this Family Day!
VICTA would love to have you join us at The Ernest Cook Trust’s Cotswold Estate in Gloucestershire for a day full of fun and unique nature-based activities. The Ernest Cook Trust are passionate about educating and engaging children and young people in the conservation of our countryside and have prepared lots of involved activities for us all to enjoy. We’ll get hands on with willow weaving and potting beans, enjoy a sensory scavenger hunt and create tactile sound maps! After a busy day exploring the outdoors, we’ll enjoy toasting marshmallows around the campfire and chatting with new friends.
As part of the day, children with a vision impairment aged 10 and under will also earn their VICTA’s Young Achievers Nature badge in a day and be well on their way to completing their medal. (Siblings will earn a Super Siblings certificate for being, well… super!) If you completed your Young Achievers Award last year, there’s still more to do as you can now work toward your gold badge.
The Ernest Cook Trust is a large educational charity focused on the engagement that children and young people have with conservation and management of the countryside across England. Follow this link to find out more about them and their work – The Ernest Cook Trust
