“How to produce the BEST photo?”

By Ellie Blake

I put the title in quotations as in my opinion there is no such thing as the best photo, it’s all down to the individual and their eye for photography. A photograph you may not like, someone else will. The main key factors of a ‘good photograph’ is lighting and angles. There isn’t much else to it.

For photographers starting out, or amateur photographers like myself I would say the key points to photography are:

  • Learn the basics of your device, whether that be a phone or a camera. How does it work? Is my lighting good? I would recommend a beginner’s photography course, this will help with taking a good image and what your camera does.
  • Play around with different filters and effects, this is a fun way to learn more about what your camera can do!
  • Find your style! Do you like shooting wildlife, architecture, black and white photography?
  • Practice! Once you’ve found what you’re comfortable with – practice! Wherever you can! I started out shooting my fruit bowl

These were my first images!
